Introducing Skynode X
The all-in-one solution for autonomous systems
Skynode X is the quickest way to bring to market autonomous robotics systems powered by Auterion. Its compact design combines an autopilot software, a mission computer and a built-in connectivity stack. Skynode X gives you access to the ultimate in performance, stability and reliability with the latest FMU generation (FMUv6x), allowing for complex algorithms and models. Skynode X powered systems can benefit from the scalability and interoperability offered by the Auterion software platform based on open source. This includes simple mission control UX/UI, reduced training efforts, plug-and-play integration with a full range of payloads, radios and third party apps, and real-time data sync to the cloud.

Improved Design
Skynode X boasts powerful yet lightweight design that is 30 percent thinner and 15 percent lighter than its predecessor. All core components are combined into one single hardware, allowing easy integration into small or space-constrained vehicles without sacrificing performance capabilities.

Upgraded Performance
Skynode X is powered by the latest FMU (Flight Management Unit) generation, FMUv6x, and brings upgraded performance, stability and reliability in all aspects. V6X features a Arm® Cortex®-M7 processor with Floating Point Unit (FPU), 480MHz high-speed operations and 2MB flash, providing more headroom for development on larger vehicles and CAN networks.

Enhanced Computer Vision Support
The new vision software development kit can be used to develop custom applications for Skynode X or install third-party applications that add new functionality like GPS-denied navigation, vision-guided landing on moving landing pads and obstacle detection.
